New Kill City in store now!

Kill City Summer styles are in!

Really not much I can say about Kill City that its founder doesn't demonstrate perfectly in his spiel below:

"I NEVER QUITE FIT IN WITH THE CROWD. I HAD LONG HAIR AND RODE A SKATEBOARD. I WORE DIRTY SURF TRUNKS AND TORN UP RED VANS. ONE DAY I SAW IN THE NEWSPAPER A PUNK ROCK SHOW. IT WAS HALLOWEEN 1979 – THE GERMS, FEAR AND BLACK FLAG AT THE HONG KONG CAFÉ IN CHINATOWN. THREE WEEKS LATER MY HAIR WAS CHOPPED AND SPIKY. I WORE MOTORCYCLE BOOTS, TIGHT BLACK JEANS AND A BOWIE DIAMOND DOGS T-SHIRT WITH THE SLEEVES CUT OFF. I WORE A CHAIN AROUND MY WAIST AS A BELT AND POSSIBLE WEAPON IN CASE THE JOCKS CAME AFTER ME. I WAS A PUNK ROCKER – MY STYLE WAS ALL MINE, EVERYONE STARED AT ME. I WAS ALL ALONE AND COMPLETELY FREE. MAKING DIFFERENT CLOTHES IS MY LIFE. FINDING, CREATING AND DISCOVERING YOUR OWN STYLE IS WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT. I HOPE YOU CAN RELATE TO WHAT WE DO AT KILL CITY."

Alternative Apparel - Spring '10 - I Kind Of Love You

This is Alternative Apparel's Spring '10 Campaign video - I Kind Of Love You. The video spawned from a very special photo collage project of the same name that they launched with Flaunt Magazine.

Here are a few words from AA:
"Inspired in part by the famed romance between cultural icons Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg and the overall vibrant allure of 1960s French pop culture, Alternative’s “I Kind of Love You” campaign video evokes a casual luxury and effortless cool that is synonymous with the premier brand’s fashion-forward, vintage-soft clothing and accessories. From music, art and cinema to the unforgettable icons themselves, the 60s French pop scene was abundantly rich in style and creativity; it was a cultural moment in time that was all about spontaneity, authenticity and comfort—both inside and out. Featuring the latest Alternative fashions for women and men, the film was shot in L.A.’s scenic Laurel Canyon neighborhood."

Enjoy the vid! I kind of love it ;)

In Store This Week -- UNIF

UNIF - U'RE NOT IN FASHION, THAT'S WHY WE'RE HERE

This little LA brand began its journey in 2004 when creator/designer, Eric Espinoza, singlehandedly started to create tees from his own backyard. He took his unique designs from boutique to boutique, taking orders, making shirts, shipping them out within impressive time frames all by himself. 2 years later, he was approached by a seasoned LA designer who offered him an office and the assistance of a list of incredibly talented industry people to develop his craft and his brand. Another 2 years later, UNIF is found all over the globe with its complete collection of men's and women's cut & sew knits, wovens, denim, accessories, and much more.

UNIF embodies and represents true LA street and contemporary style. Eric's quirky personality is depicted in all of his fun collections which are definitely not for the bland. 80's style, crop tops, fun colors, flattering fits, creative & playful designs with both graphics and cuts - All fascinating & fabulous characteristics of his new Spring collection - Available @ Addiction this week!!

Lauren Moshi - Wearable Art

Lauren Moshi is one of Hollywood's most seen and heard brands, with each piece of clothing as a canvas for completely original pieces of art hand drawn by Lauren Moshi herself. Her edgy, cute, trendy, bold, unique, one-of-a-kind artworks give the brand & their buttery soft tops a perfect combination of style, attitude, and quality comfort. These tops come in so many different cuts that you can for sure find the design you love in a tee that fits you best. Pair it with shorts, jeans, skirt, tights or wear the tank/tee dresses over your bikini in the summer; Paris, Lindsay, Shenae, Halle, Lauren, Audrina, Jess Alba all concur: These tees are the cutest, and most versatile & comfortable tops EVER!
